Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital (formerly Bloorview Kids Rehab) is the leader in care, research, and education for kids with disabilities and their families. As Canada's largest children's rehabilitation and complex continuing care teaching hospital, it is an international leader in childhood disability. Holland Bloorview pioneers treatments, technologies, therapies and real-world programs that give children with disabilities the tools to participate fully in life. Regardless of their disability, kids just want to be kids. Holland Bloorview has 650 inpatient admissions and 53,000 outpatient visits each year from across the province, Canada and around the world. Bloorview serves children from birth to 19 years old with disabilities. The Holland Bloorview Research Institute conducts research focused on enhancing care, developing assistive technologies, and evaluating the barriers restricting inclusion of children with a wide range of disabilities including brain and spinal cord injuries, cerebral palsy, autism, epilepsy and genetic disorders. Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation develops relationships and raises funds in the community for Holland Bloorview.
